Christos by Giardini di Toscana is a 2023 Oriental Eau de Parfum for women and men composed by perfumer Silvia Martinelli that takes the great tradition of sacred incense the resins, the smoke, the golden warmth of ceremony and distils it into something intimate, wearable, and deeply, quietly beautiful. A fragrance that moves like a meditation: from luminous citrus clarity through resinous, rose-warmed depth to a base of magnificent, long-burning amber and sandalwood richness.

The opening is luminous and immediately, arrestingly resinous: Incense rises from the very first moment with its classical, silvery-smoky, meditative depth sacred and ancient, immediately transporting. Amber Xtreme a powerful, radiant amber molecule of exceptional diffusiveness and warm, golden intensity, prized for its ability to project a rich, resinous warmth with remarkable longevity gives the opening its distinctive, luminous amber glow that amplifies everything around it. Bergamot lifts the accord with its sparkling citrus clarity, adding a refined, clean brightness that keeps the resinous opening from ever feeling heavy and gives Christos its initial, elegant accessibility.

The heart deepens into a beautifully dark and complex accord of great resinous character: Labdanum the ancient, ambery resin of the Cistus ladanifer plant, harvested in the sun-scorched scrublands of the Mediterranean for thousands of years, with its distinctive warm, animalic, slightly balsamic depth that is one of the oldest perfumery materials known to humanity forms the rich, primal resinous core of the heart.
