The opening is immediate, vivid, and arrestingly beautiful: Blood Orange the dramatic, deep-red citrus with its distinctive bittersweet, slightly berry-like richness that sets it apart from conventional orange with a dark, almost vinous complexity opens with concentrated, jewel-bright intensity. Ginger ignites the accord with its sharp, fiery, slightly woody spiced heat not the candied sweetness of ginger confection but the raw, aromatic urgency of fresh root giving L’Interdit Rouge its defining, immediately commanding opening energy.

The heart is an intensely beautiful, richly spiced floral of great presence: Tuberose the most narcotic and intoxicating of all white florals, with its creamy, heady, almost overwhelmingly lush richness burns at the centre with full, dramatic intensity. Jasmine weaves through with its luminous, slightly indolic white floral depth, adding radiance and sensuality to the tuberose’s opulent creaminess.
