Launched in 2025, Muskaria Extrait de Parfum is a richly layered and deeply sensual new creation from the Venetian niche house of Gritti, composed by the house’s own founder and perfumer, Luca Gritti. An Oriental Spicy unisex fragrance in the highest concentration Extrait de Parfum Muskaria is, as its name suggests, a fragrance built around the art of musk: warm, skin-close, and deeply, irresistibly human. But this is musk as Luca Gritti sees it complex, resinous, spiced, and layered with the full richness of the Oriental tradition.
The Scent
Bergamot opens with a sparkling citrus brightness that lifts the composition before the true depth begins to reveal itself. Rose adds a velvety, full-bloomed floral richness at the heart, while Spices thread a warm, aromatic energy through the composition from opening to drydown.
The resinous core of Muskaria is built from some of perfumery’s most powerful and characterful materials: Benzoin sweet and balsamic, Incense sacred and smoky, Patchouli dark and earthy, and Leather smooth and commanding four ingredients that together create a foundation of extraordinary depth and complexity.
At the centre of it all: Musk and Ambrette the two great skin musks of perfumery. Ambrette, derived from musk mallow seeds, is one of the most natural and skin-like musks available warm, slightly nutty, and deeply personal. Together with classic musk and the softening warmth of Vanilla, they create a drydown that feels like the most beautiful version of your own skin.
