Rosa Sublime by Gucci is a 2025 Floral Eau de Parfum for women that takes the rose beyond its classical boundaries, surrounding it with sacred resins, golden spice, and the softest of musks to create something that feels both ancient and entirely, breathtakingly new. Composed by the gifted perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui, it is a fragrance of rare ambition and extraordinary execution a rose for women who know that beauty, at its most powerful, requires no ornamentation.

The opening is resinous, spiced, and immediately ceremonial: Pink Pepper opens with its luminous, rosy, crackling warmth a perfect prelude to the rose at the heart. Olibanum (the raw resin form of frankincense, before distillation) and Elemi the citrusy-resinous material from the Filipino canarium tree, with its fresh, slightly lemony transparency together create a resinous opening of great luminosity and depth, while Incense adds its classical, silvery-smoky meditative quality, setting a mood of elevation and quiet ceremony from the very first breath.

The heart is where Rosa Sublime reveals its full, extraordinary complexity: Damask Rose the most prized of all rose varieties, with its deep, honeyed, slightly spiced richness, harvested at dawn when its oil content is at its peak blooms at the centre with sovereign, incandescent beauty. Saffron one of the world’s most precious raw materials, with its warm, honeyed, leathery-floral character wraps the rose in golden, opulent warmth. Ambrettolide a macrocyclic musk of exceptional naturalness and skin-like intimacy, with a slightly fruity, pear-like facet and Ambrette a natural botanical musk from the Abelmoschus moschatus plant, with its distinctive musky-wine character, considered one of the finest natural musks available together create a musk duo of remarkable refinement that draws the rose intimately, irresistibly close to the skin.

The dry-down is dark, resinous, and magnificently grounded: Myrrh the ancient, bitter-sweet resin of the Commiphora tree, prized across millennia for its warm, slightly medicinal, deeply complex balsamic character adds a sacred, timeless depth. Orcanox™  Givaudan’s radiant woody-ambergris molecule provides luminous, skin-fusing warmth; Patchouli grounds the composition with its dark, earthy richness; and Virginian Cedar closes with clean, dry woody elegance a base that carries Rosa Sublime with quiet, sovereign authority long into the day and night.
