Created in 2024 by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, this is a Woody fragrance for men that takes an unusual route. The opening is bergamot clean and slightly citrusy, like the air in a well-kept study. Then the heart arrives: ink. Not a metaphor, not a vague reference an actual ink note, dry and slightly metallic, the kind that clings to your fingers after you've been writing. It's specific and distinctive, and it's what manot the heavy, hippie-era patchouli of the 70s, but a refined, modern version that reads as dark wood and soil. Vanilla softens the edges, adding just enough sweetness to keep the whole thing from feeling austere.
