Launched in 2026, Patchouli d’Atlas EDP is a warm, spiced, and deeply sophisticated new creation from the celebrated British niche house of Ormonde Jayne, composed by the talented nose of Céline Ripert. An Oriental Woody unisex fragrance, Patchouli d’Atlas draws its name from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco the great range that stretches across North Africa, ancient and majestic, where the air carries the warmth of the Sahara and the cool of the Mediterranean in equal measure. This is a fragrance of that same elemental richness: spiced and golden at the surface, warm and woody at the heart, and deeply, lastingly earthy at the skin.

The Scent Journey

• Top Notes: Saffron, Cardamom, Pink Pepper and Lemon. A vivid, warm, and gently spiced opening of immediate richness. Saffron golden and slightly leathery, adding an immediate depth and opulence, cardamom warm and aromatic, pink pepper rosy and gently fiery, and lemon crisp and sparkling, lifting the spices with a clean citrus brightness that prevents the opening from feeling heavy. Together, a spiced opening of genuine warmth and sophistication.
• Middle Notes: Cashmeran, Cedarwood, Amber and Akigalawood. A warm, woody, and deeply refined heart built around some of perfumery’s most sophisticated materials. Cashmeran a warm, woody, slightly musky IFF molecule with a cosy, cashmere-like character adding a skin-close intimacy, cedarwood dry and structured, amber golden and resinous, and Akigalawood a Givaudan molecule with a warm, slightly smoky, patchouli-adjacent woody character that amplifies and modernises the patchouli base together creating a heart of extraordinary warmth and depth that bridges the spiced opening and the earthy base with effortless grace.
• Base Notes: Patchouli, Ambroxan, Sandalwood and Musk. A dark, warm, and deeply lasting drydown that is the true soul of Patchouli d’Atlas. Patchouli dark and earthy, the star of the composition rendered at its most refined and most wearable, Ambroxan derived from ambergris, warm and skin-amplifying, the molecule that makes a fragrance feel like the most radiant version of your own skin sandalwood smooth and creamy, and musk leaving a clean, skin-close trail that carries the warmth and earthiness of the entire composition for hours.
